Florent Poujade, born in 1970, lives and works in Angoulême.

He transforms common metal into noble metal. His approach is to build a recognized entity from single, abandoned elements.

His creations are the result of chance encounters with (mostly) metal scraps, bones, skeletons, horns, wood… For him, the simplest things can be the most beautiful. It’s just a matter of appreciating them, imagining them remodeled, together or not, and transforming them into something truly singular. For Florent Poujade, what’s simple is valuable.

The gallery is currently presents his animal sculptures.

Florent Poujade won the Grand Prix de l’art – Festival International Automobile (February 2013) with his “Lady Jag” (Jaguar MK2 cut into lace and transformed into a brothel).
